Ashton has a new best friend. He's a small, fuzzy, black gorilla named Buddy Love. Tyler gave him to me for Valentine's Day after we were first married. He's got a cute little pink lipstick kiss on his cheek, and he used to have an orange bow tie. I say "used to" because Ashton ripped it off. Since before he was born, I've had that monkey hanging on my night stand, but not too long ago, Ashton crawled over to it, ripped it down, and has taken it everywhere with him since. Buddy goes with us to the store, to church, to Grandma's house, or to restaurants. If we're at home, Ashton has him in his little fist or on the floor close by.
He even eats and falls asleep with him.
What a sad day it will be if we ever lose Buddy Love!
