An Afternoon With Janet

My dear friend Janet is from Stevensville, but her parents live in Pleasant Grove. Sometimes when she's in town for a visit, she comes to see us, too! Today we met her for lunch and then went back to her parents' house. They have a couple of goats who just had a couple of babies, and we thought Ashton would like them. He definitely did! He was very interested in the tiny little babies.


He was a little more intimidated by the big ones, though. He kept picking up walnuts and throwing them in their water bucket, but every time one of the big goats came to see what he was doing, he froze like a statue.

I guess he inherited a little bit of my animal fears... oops. But he loved seeing the goats, and he talked about it endlessly for the next several days. And, of course, I was glad to see Janet. Come back any day, and we'll hang out with you, Janet!!!
